Dinosaur Saturdays

The Dino Program is a 2 hour long mini class about dinosaurs that takes place every Saturday at the Elks Hall at noon. The children will learn facts and misconceptions about dinosaurs. Each week will have a general theme such as a certain type of dinosaur. Alongside learning about them, games and activities will be present to incorporate some fun throughout the length of the program. The Dino Program is a 5 week long program that started on May 29th and last until June 26th. Up until now, the children have learned about the Theropod, the clade made up of mostly carnivorous dinosaurs. This Saturday, June 12th, the children will learn about creatures that were thought to be dinosaurs that however were not. For some fun in this program, the children will partake in art such as painting dinosaur trackways, and to see how big some dinosaurs were, we will use a gymnasium for measure, and a dinosaur dig activity is being planned for the future classes. This class on dinosaurs will surely be interesting and we ensure your child will have fun and make friends.
