New Horizons Society for Autism and Special Needs runs a program every Thursday where tweens can socialize and make friends. The tweens are taught how to care for themselves and how to properly handle difficult situations. Tween Group can also serve as a support group and is a safe space where they can open up about anything and not be worried about someone’s reaction or be shamed. This is a place where things others have said will not be shared by staff and we encourage the other kids to do the same. Tween Group will be a place for your child to unwind and just have fun with others just like them.
Every Thursday | Free | Sensory Friendly
Some groups are divided into male and female activities, due to group size.
